When Sepp Holzer started farming, he had just come from agricultural school and quickly concluded that he had to forget everything he had learned there. Only by managing his farm in harmony with nature does it contribute to a healthy plant and animal world, was his vision. In Austria, he was already known as the "Farmer Rebel." Permaculture did not yet exist then; he simply followed his intuition.

Despite Sepp being in the Austrian mountains, the methods presented are fundamentally universal. And thus also perfectly applicable in our flat country, for example, in combination with a paddock paradise. Perhaps with a very modest little hill and thus a toad pond.
