Developing a herb-rich grassland

In the initial stages of development, for botanical development for example, it is necessary to mow early, so early or mid-May and not just after June 15.
Early mowing impoverishes more, allows for a substantial second and possibly third cut, and improves the competitive position of herbs relative to grasses.

By also pushing the importance of yield a bit more into the background, it is possible to have a pasture within 3 years that better suits the nature of the horse. That is to say, a pasture that will cause significantly fewer health problems and is also a pleasure to behold.
