Healthy sheep start with healthy nutrition. Not focused on maximum production, but on vitality, resistance, and quality of life. That's why at Natuly (formerly Bio-Ron), we opt for a nutritious, varied diet with roughage as a base, whole grains as a source of structure, and pellets as a supplement where needed.

Whole Grains for Structure and Diversity

In addition to or instead of our organic sheep pellets, you can excellenty feed our animal feeds to sheep. These feeds contain more structure and stimulate healthy rumen function and natural digestion. Our muesli, in particular, is a complete and vital addition to the basic ration.

Feed Transition? Take it Easy

Sheep primarily accustomed to processed feeds need to be slowly introduced to feeding whole grains. Their digestive system needs time to adapt. It is better to give small quantities of easily digestible grains and supplement energy needs with pellets where necessary, especially during the winter period.

Supporting a transition? Use our Bokashi, rich in ferments and microorganisms. For a boost in extra minerals, omegas, and vitamins, you can choose Bio-Chi.

Minerals: Small Substances, Big Impact

The correct mineral balance is essential for fertility, resistance, growth, and coat quality. Important elements for sheep include selenium, copper, and cobalt (vitamin B12). A deficiency or, conversely, an excess can have significant, unnoticed consequences. Symptoms are often subtle: slow growth, pale mucous membranes, dull coat, reduced resistance, or fertility problems.

Our Approach: Natural Minerals, Free Choice

At Natuly, we believe in free intake of natural sources. No synthetic mixtures, but pure elements such as Icelandic seaweed, Celtic sea salt, and peat drink with trace elements in natural binding. Animals can choose what they need themselves, provided it is offered in the right way, for example, via a mineral buffet. Or hang several Himalayan salt licks. This naturally provides sheep with a wide range of trace elements. These salts contain all conceivable metals and minerals in a natural, pure form. Especially for lactating ewes, this is a valuable supplement.

The Feeding Method Makes the Difference

The better the structure of the roughage, the faster and more efficiently grains are absorbed. The feeding method itself, with calm, without stress or competition, also influences how much the animals actually absorb.

Housing: Shelter and Space

A natural stable climate and sufficient dry, clean resting places are important. Sheep like an overview and shelter, but also fresh air. The Eco-Stable is also a well-applicable concept for sheep: it supports a stable microclimate, limits ammonia, and keeps the stable climate calm and natural. In wet or intensive conditions, clay minerals and lava in the stable floor can contribute to hygiene and comfort.

For professional users, we can compose a custom-made grain feed from 1000 kg. This could include a higher proportion of barley or alfalfa for meat quality, or the addition of lupins, peas, or soy for milk production. All organic and tailored to your objectives.
